AUDITIONS
Monday, March 6, 4:00-9:00pm


Everyone who auditions will be cast. 
Registration and tuition due at auditions.
Bring a 4x6 PHOTO of yourself

AUDITION REQUIREMENT: 
You have the choice of either preparing a one-minute monologue of your choosing, OR reading from a script provided by the director on the night of auditions.  There are both comedic and dramatic roles in this play, so if you decide to perform a monologue, either genre is acceptable. 

What to expect at Auditions:
This is a fun and exciting night for Alethia!  Don't worry, auditions are only in front of directors and producers and they couldn't be more supportive! 

You must be registered and paid in full before auditioning.  It is likely there will be callbacks that night for the director to begin seeing how to cast the show! This is a fun time to work with other actors.

BRING: Dinner or snacks and plenty of water.  Light snacks and water will be available for $1 each.

REHEARSALS
Rehearsals, Mondays, 4:00-9:00pm beginning March  13 , plus 3 Saturdays, 9am-2pm: April 8 - April 22 - May 13
Holidays: No holiday breaks this season

Additional rehearsals may be scheduled, we do our best to work with everyone's schedules!

Show Week  - Mandatory and schedule subject to change
Monday through Wednesday, 4-10pm at GGFC
Thursday, 3pm Call Time
Friday, 12pm Call Time
Saturday, 1pm Call Time

Actors must be available for all rehearsals three weeks before show dates and all show times.  Excessive absences will be cause for dismissal from the show, with no refund.

TUITION
Cost: $450  Payment due in full at registration, payments may be made through Paypal's Payment Plan only. - Additional costs:  *script (cost TBD - due at auditions), concession item, make-up, shoes. Parents must volunteer, jobs to be determined after Parent Meeting. Everyone helps with costumes!

Mandatory Parent Meeting:  Mark your calendar now! Monday, March 13, 8:00pm.  All actors must have parent or other adult representative in attendance.

Ryan Miller
Ryan is thrilled to be back with Alethia after having directed their productions of Pride and PrejudiceUp the Down StaircaseRight You Are, If You Think You Are and assistant directing Nicholas Nickleby. He holds his BA in Theatre from Vanguard University and is a graduate of the UCLA MFA Acting program.

Sasha Stewart Miller
Sasha Stewart Miller earned her B.A. in Theatre and English from Vanguard University and her M.A. in English from National University.  She had a wonderful experience directing Alethia’s production of Nicholas Nickleby, and assistant directing Pride and Prejudice.  She has also taught at The Arts and Learning Conservatory, and directed their productions of The Little Mermaid and Star Wars.  She has been a member of the Torrance Theatre Company since 2009, and has directed their productions of The Cripple of Inishmaan, Coney Island Christmas and Seven in One Blow. Other directing credits include: Last Train to Nibroc (ACTC and Little Fish) and See Rock City (Little Fish.)
